Customers must review all estimates and accompanying drawings to verify quantities, measurements, and selections prior to approval. Work and installation areas must be fully accessible and prepared on the scheduled day(s). Once delivered and/or installed, the client assumes full responsibility for protecting aluminum doors and windows from damage during the remainder of construction. Damage from trades, debris, tools, or improper coverings is not covered under warranty.
With Installation: 50% deposit to initiate production, 40% to schedule installation, 10% upon final touch-up and glass installation.
Without Installation: 50% deposit to begin production, 50% due prior to delivery.
Late payments may delay scheduling and are subject to additional fees.
All credit card payments are subject to a 3.1% processing fee.
All DURALUMI products are custom-manufactured and therefore non-returnable and non-refundable. Cancellations or revisions after order confirmation may incur additional charges.
We are not liable for delays due to conditions beyond our control, including weather, site delays, material shortages, or labor interruptions.
DURALUMI shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product performance, installation, or misuse.
Unless otherwise requested in writing, DURALUMI reserves the right to photograph completed work for portfolio or promotional use.
Estimates are based on client-submitted architectural plans dated [Insert Date]. Any assumptions made during estimating must be confirmed by the client. DURALUMI is not responsible for extra costs resulting from incomplete designs, installation details, or post-approval changes.
Installation includes one trip: Aluminum window and door installation with protective film applied.
Rough openings must be complete prior to the confirmed installation date. Delays or additional site visits may result in trip charges.
Lead time begins once:
50% deposit is received
Estimate is signed
CAD drawings are reviewed, approved, and signed by the client
If aluminum doors/windows are delivered ahead of installation, they must be stored in a dry, secure, covered location, off the ground, and protected from weather or impact. Damage during jobsite storage is not covered by DURALUMI.
Installation Environment: Products must be installed in dry, stable environments. Exposure to wet concrete, plaster, or high alkaline materials may result in corrosion or coating failure — this is not covered under warranty.
Cleaning: Only use mild soap and water to clean aluminum surfaces. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh/acidic cleaners, which may damage the finish and void the warranty.
Powder-Coated Finish: The powder coating applied to our aluminum profiles is a high-performance finish, but it is not touch-up friendly. Scratches, dents, or damage occurring post-installation are considered cosmetic and not covered.
Thermal Break Protection: Internal components in thermal break systems are sensitive to chemicals and heat. Using incorrect cleaners or exposure to extreme temperatures will void warranty coverage.
Glass & Glazing: DURALUMI supplies fully tempered, Low-E coated, argon-filled glass. Damage caused by impact, debris, thermal stress, or improper handling is not covered under warranty.
Modifications & Drilling: Any field modification (cutting, drilling, repainting, part removal) without prior written approval will immediately void all warranties.
Manufacturing Defects: 10-year limited warranty.
Warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship only. It does not cover misuse, improper installation by others, construction-related damage, inadequate site protection, or environmental corrosion (e.g., saltwater exposure without special coating).
Warranty claims are addressed within 48 hours. On-site inspections are not provided by AMS Group – Magnolia / DURALUMI and may require third-party assessment.
